The Beginning

Everyday there are words or images that remind me that my daughter is no longer here on earth.  She left her impression on all that met her, either with her kind acts or with the small items that she gave them.  Just like she left items for others, we were left with all of her unfinished journals through the years.  At times she wrote a lot and at other times she did not write at all.  This site is dedicated and inspired by her short life of  23 years, that so tragically ended November 12, 2015 due to an automobile accident.

As you journey through the website each tab is related to an area of her life that she was passionate about, with the last tab being her demon.

  • The first one, “The Journals”, will be excerpts from her journals or stories that people pass on to me. 
  • The next one is “Loved” which represents her spiritual life and is the word that was tattooed on her shoulder (I John 4:19). This will be a tab to celebrate life and the joy in the world. 
  • Then followed by “Ultimate” this represents her love for the Ultimate disc sport that is growing at such a rapid pace, it will highlight the ongoing growth of this new sport. 
  • The “Parks & Wildlife” will highlight her love for animals, conservation, and the Park systems throughout the United States. 
  • The last tab,” Mental Health & Drug Addiction”, she did struggle with anxiety and towards the end a drug addiction.  This tab is to discuss current Mental Health issues and Drugs in our society. 

As a parent, I always hoped I would hear her friends and her tell me stories of the things they did growing up.  My hope is that this will be a blog that will become a community to share not only her journals, but a continuation and ongoing journal of life for all to share.
